SAMUEL GOWER

My name is Samuel (Sammy) Gower, and I am a Game Producer with a strong focus on structure, communication, and team coordination. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Game Design from Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, where I focused on Game Producing.

Since April 2025, I have been teaching Documentation and Production in the Game Design program at Mediadesign Hochschule, while also contributing to student project supervision. In parallel, I work as a Producer at the startup Gemein Games, where I help shape project structures, streamline development processes, and support teams in delivering strong results under real-world constraints.

 

My strengths lie in building clear production frameworks, communicating goals efficiently, finding pragmatic solutions, and keeping teams motivated and aligned. Alongside my professional work, my background in youth and educational projects has shaped a collaborative and people-centered leadership style.

Beyond digital game production, I have a long-standing background in youth work and educational formats. For around ten years, I have planned and led group-based activities for children and young people, including two-week programs with more than 100 participants. I also facilitate workshops for group leaders on how to design interactive play systems for group processes, activation, and learning. This experience strongly shapes my approach to serious games, gamification, and interactive learning formats.
